Life on Campus
Students in the Precollege Summer Residential Program live in residence halls on campus, enjoy meals in the dining halls, and spend time making friends and participating in fun activities, all while supported by 24/7 health and safety services.
Students in the Precollege Summer Commuter Program live off campus with their parents or guardians, but they can still enjoy meals in the dining halls, meet new friends, and explore Cornell’s Ivy League libraries.
On-campus Precollege students experience life at Cornell by walking or using public transportation to get to classes or other buildings. Like Cornell undergraduates, Precollege students are expected to manage their time effectively in order to get to classes punctually every day. Residential students must also follow campus travel policies, which will be shared later.
