We invite you to study with Cornell faculty, take regular university classes, earn credits and a Cornell transcript, and experience academic life at a top US university.

What programs can I take?
On-campus options
The Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY, is one of the nation's most beautiful campuses. Join us in the spring, summer, or fall for in-person courses.
High school students
If you're a high school student who's able to travel to Ithaca, you may apply to take a Cornell course on campus during the summer as a residential or commuter student.
Undergraduate and graduate students
You can choose from thousands of regular on-campus courses taught by Cornell faculty during the spring, summer, and fall. For enrollment instructions, see international student enrollment.
Online options
If you can't make it to campus, consider taking a Cornell course online. Most online courses are offered during the winter and summer.
High school students
Online courses are a great chance to experience college academics, explore potential majors, and plan for your future, all without leaving home. Learn more about online courses for high school students.
Undergraduate and graduate students
Take a regular Cornell course, earn up to 15 credits, and work closely with university faculty. Classes are offered in pre-recorded (asynchronous) and/or live (synchronous) modes. Read more about your online learning options.
Do you have test score or visa requirements?
You can read about minimum test scores on the English Language Proficiency page.
Visas are not required for online study.
What are my housing options?
On-campus housing is available for students participating in Summer Session.
The university does not provide housing for fall, spring, or winter non-degree students.
