7:00 a.m.

Wake up, throw on your running shoes, and meet up two or more friends for a jog around homebase. The campus is gorgeous on a quiet summer morning.

8:00 a.m.

Get back in time for a quick shower and check Canvas and emails to get ready for class.

8:30 a.m.

Meet up with two or more friends and head over to Morrison Dining for breakfast. Or, if it’s just you, ask an RC to walk you over. Coffee awaits (or maybe it’s a fresh fruit smoothie kinda day…)

9:30 a.m.

You’re taking HADM 3365, a course through Cornell’s famous Nolan School of Hotel Administration, so it’s time to meet your class group and RC and head over to Statler Hall (don’t forget to take a selfie with the Herakles statue).

10:00 a.m.–Noon

Class time: Today could be a mix of a lecture followed by group breakouts with fellow students or a hands-on lab. Spend a few minutes talking with the professor or TA after class for any questions or schedule a time to meet during office hours.

Noon–1:00 p.m.

Join your class group for the walk to one of the campus dining locations for lunch. Relax and enjoy this midday break with friends.

1:00–2:10 p.m.

It’s back to class. This time, you might work in teams on a project or spend some time with your professor going over test material. Be sure to throw up your hand and get points for class participation.

2:15 p.m.

Decision time. Do you want to head out with your RC to a study session in one of Cornell’s libraries (air-conditioning and café included) or walk back to North Campus for the arts and crafts club, to relax with friends, play volleyball, or take a nap (hey, don’t judge).

5:00–7:30 p.m.

It’s dinner on North Campus, with all the salads, veggies, meats, pastas, stir-fries, and/or desserts, you can eat! (Vegan, halal, and kosher options included and special dietary issues addressed.)

7:00–10 p.m.

The evening is full of choices—but be sure to get your homework and readings completed. Time to relax: Head over to Cornell’s Libe Slope with your RC and other Cornell students to watch the sunset over Cayuga Lake, catch a movie, or take some me-time around the homebase area.

And on the weekend? Sign up for a local hike to spectacular waterfalls, go birding at the Lab of Ornithology, swim at the local swimming pools, take a trip to the Ithaca Farmers Market, make a mall run, or hit Collegetown for a bowl of pho, a just-baked bagel, or some bubble tea.

10:00 p.m. Sunday–Thursday (or 11:00 p.m. Friday–Saturday)

Time to check in with your RC and get a good night’s sleep. You’ve got another full day tomorrow.
