Course description

This two-week online course is designed for any student interested in bio-inspiration. Using case studies, we will review published bio-inspired technologies, lecture on foundational mathematical principles, and interview scientists behind the work. Students will build intuition on how to design a bio-inspired technology based on the core foundations of: materials, movement, environment, and behavior. This course is an exciting dive into how biological systems inspire and what we can build based on that knowledge.
