Introduction to Architecture

This program is open to all college students who wish to pursue architecture at the graduate level or as a minor at their home institution; program participants need not be Cornell students or U.S citizens.

It is also open to high school students, who must apply through Precollege Summer Residential Program. For specific requirements, see precollege eligibility.

No specialized knowledge or background is required beyond a serious interest in architectural design.

Online design studios

These design classes are open to college students from Cornell and other institutions.

Students from accredited architecture programs other than Cornell must submit a portfolio for review before registering.

Before registering, review the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning's Student, Faculty, and Staff Handbook for policies and procedures regarding summer programs.

Other Cornell students, transfer students, and visiting undergraduates
