Course description

The use of digitally driven design tools constitutes an important skill set for future designers, engineers, artists and architects. Rooted in the emergence and proliferation of digital design culture, this three-week course introduces students to the fundamentals of digital design. Students will become familiar with 3D modeling, parametric design, and animation/visualization software through a series of hands on workshops and tutorials. Students will visualize their design explorations using Rhinoceros 3D and V-Ray using Cornell AAPa??s state of the art rendering platform.
