Our Faculty
All credit courses offered through Cornell SCE are regular Cornell courses, taught by the outstanding faculty members you'd expect from a top-tier university.
Whether you're registering for summer, winter, or fall/spring study, you'll gain access to instructors at the top of their fields.
"All of the faculty and staff were happy to help in any way they could. Everyone here truly wants you to succeed and will help as long as you ask for it. The professor and TAs challenged me and emphasized the importance of doing well. Everything was ideal."
Kaitlin BorderIn addition, unlike many summer and winter sessions across the country, more than two-thirds of our summer and winter teaching staff are regular Cornell faculty members who teach year-round. Of those who make up our visiting faculty, many either received a PhD here or are former Cornell faculty members, ensuring that you'll have a true Cornell learning experience.
And because our Summer and Winter classes are often smaller than classes offered during the fall/spring, you'll gain a great opportunity to really get to know the faculty and work with them directly.
"I love the small class sizes, I was able to ask questions in class and I felt like I got to know my classmates and the professor really well."
