A teaching practicum for Cornell graduate students

This seminar prepares newly appointed graduate student instructors of Cornell's First-Year Writing Seminars to teach courses that help undergraduates develop the writing skills they'll need throughout their undergraduate careers.

All students take the one-credit course WRIT 7100: Teaching Writing.

As part of this course, you'll develop lesson plans you can use in your own First-Year Writing Seminar.

To register, contact the John S. Knight Institute. For more information, review the institute's pages on teaching support and WRIT 7100.
