Top 3 reasons to attend summer camp at Cornell
- Highest staff-to-youth ratio in camping
Your children will be well supervised at all times by our highly trained counselors, many of whom teach or study on the Cornell campus. For our youngest groups, we assign only three to four campers to each counselor.
- Balance of academic and camp activities
Not only will your children enjoy traditional camp activities including arts and crafts, games, swimming, and hands-on projects, they’ll also benefit from educational components designed to enrich their minds and nurture a love of learning.
- Cornell's campus is your playground
Summer at Cornell - and in Ithaca and the Finger Lakes - is a special time. Our programs help your children take full advantage of the gorgeous weather and beautiful setting, with outdoor activities and field trips to nearby parks and places of interest.

Camper experiences

"I don't know what the youth staff does to so enthrall younger campers, but they consistently did all of the 15 years I have attended with children and grandchildren. I am so happy to share my love of Cornell and Ithaca with them."

"Our child enjoyed the vet classes, trips, and the opportunity to meet new friends from all over the world."
