Immerse yourself in the world's oldest optical technology

Artists Jennifer and David Todd invite novices and experienced photographers alike to join them in an exploration of the world's earliest lens-based imaging tools.

Using pinhole cameras of our own construction, we'll capture images in a centuries-old process. With no glass, shutter, viewfinder, or light meter, we'll experience the investigative and playful aspects of picture-taking.

We'll print our black-and-white photographs in the darkroom without the aid of negatives, a technique sure to excite even the most seasoned photographer.

The week will end with an exhibition of our work. Materials fee: $45.
