On-campus CAU housing

New for 2020! CAU moves to Alice Cook House

For 2020, due to the large residential expansion project around our traditional meeting space on North Campus, the Alice Cook House on Cornell's West Campus will be our headquarters for adults.

It features hallway- and suite-style single and double rooms with shared bathrooms and sitting areas. The building is air-conditioned, and individual rooms are cooled with ceiling fans.

Breakfasts and dinners will be served in Alice Cook's exclusive-to-CAU dining room, while lunches can be enjoyed at one of Cornell’s many campus eateries. See dining.

Additional amenities at Cook House include a traffic lane at the main entrance for easy arrival and departure, convenient parking, and shuttle service to classes (see Getting Around Cornell).

You'll also enjoy a serene outdoor courtyard, spacious social lounge, and staffed hospitality desk. And, you'll avoid the chaotic construction related to the expansion project around our previous North Campus headquarters!

House doors are locked around the clock, with the exception of a few hours during check-in, so be sure to carry your key card when you leave the building. In the event that you're locked out, please follow the directions posted near the residence hall entrance phones.

Housing for families with children

You're invited to register your children and grandchildren ages 4-15 in CAU's youth programs. See summer family programs.

If you opt for on-campus housing when attending CAU with children ages 4-12, you'll all stay in Alice Cook House. Counselors will supervise children during CAU's youth camp (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), after camp and at dinner (4:30 to 6:00 p.m.), and during the evening activity program (6:00 to 9:00 p.m.).

Teens ages 13-15 will live together in the Bauer residence hall on North Campus, where they are supervised by residential counselors throughout the day and night.
