Cornell CAU Youth Programs

After much deliberation, due to concerns over COVID-19, Cornell has cancelled all on-campus CAU programs for summer 2020. This applies to on-campus adult, youth, and teen programs from July 5 through August 1.

CAU has, however, developed a CAU Virtual Summer for Youth and Teens, which will offer free virtual content from July 6-31, 2020.

Youth and teens ages 9–15 can participate in free mini-classes led by Cornell students, video tours of research facilities, Q&A sessions with Cornell students, informational sessions with colleges, trivia contests, and other online educational activities.

Precollege Studies / Summer College

Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Cornell University Summer College will be held entirely online.

  • On-campus programs through August 16 are cancelled. However, almost all on-campus programs have been converted into online offerings. Please check your program page frequently for updates.
  • All regular Cornell Summer College online classes for high school students will proceed as scheduled.

Summer Session

Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Cornell University Summer Session will be held entirely online.

  • On-campus courses through August 16 are cancelled. Please check the online course roster frequently for updates.
  • All regular Summer Session online courses will proceed as scheduled and the Prefreshman Summer Program, Veterans' Summer Bridge Program, and Cornell in Washington summer term will be delivered online.
  • In addition, with guidance and support from the provost’s office and in collaboration with college academic units, SCE is working as quickly as possible to identify and mount additional summer online courses to help ensure continuity of education for undergraduate and graduate students.

CAU Education Vacations (on campus and around the world)
