Survey course that covers the many facets of architecture: history, design principles, preservations, landscape architecture, building technology, and cultural factors. Course format comprises lectures, demonstrations, and films. Evaluation is based on quizzes and a final exam.
Enrollment limited to: non-architecture majors in college
Precollege high school students: You must also register for ARCH 1100: An Introduction to Architecture: Design Studio.
