2020 Summer Course Update

The School of Continuing Education (SCE) is working with Cornell leadership to monitor the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. All Cornell Summer Session online courses will proceed as scheduled. We will be adding online courses to the summer roster throughout the spring. On-campus classes set to begin before July 12 are cancelled or will be moved online. The university hopes to make a decision about on-campus classes scheduled for after July 12 (see summer 3-week 3 offerings) once the pandemic situation becomes clearer.

Take fall-term engineering courses this summer

To accommodate the schedules of students in Cornell's Engineering Cooperative Education Program, the College of Engineering has selected a set of courses from its regular curriculum for this summer program. Other students are encouraged to enroll in these courses as space permits.

The courses take place during two consecutive periods:

  • May 26–July 2, 2020
  • July 6–August 14, 2020

Students in the Engineering Cooperative Education Program summer term may also take regular summer session courses. It is your responsibility to be aware of all summer session regulations and the deadlines pertaining to registration in electives.
