Student Code of Conduct

As a CIW student, you’re expected to be familiar with the contents of the Student Code of Conduct (PDF).

This code outlines expectations of conduct for all members of the Cornell community, including students, and describes the judicial process.

Generally, the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards is responsible for handling violations of the Student Code of Conduct.

Image release

Cornell University and Cornell in Washington often photograph or record activities in public and non-public areas, such as classrooms, for use in a variety of media.

When you register for CIW, you’ll have an opportunity to indicate whether or not you grant the university permission to photograph or record you in non-public areas and use your likeness, image, and/or voice in promotional, informational, social media, or other materials.
